Well I passed my driving test for the big trucks. the class was 17 weeks long, but it all over now. Passed all 3 parts of the test. so when you are on the roads this summer and see a semi truck I may be in it. Now all I have to do is move back to Norh aL yahoo!!!

hey whats up? just a line to say hello and see how everyone is doing? hope all is well. november i am going to texas to visit my family (mom, maybe my sister(hopefully not) and of my course my half brother) still in california and attempting the whole job search thing, cant say i havent had any luck cause i havent been trying till now to get one, also looking for a car and trying to get my license done that i have never gotten done yet. my husband hasnt gone to iraq yet cause of the type of job that he is doing now, he goes on guard duty soon, which to me will seem like he went on deployment cause he wont be home everyday, 3 months of it will kill me. he has another year at the position he is in and more than likely he will end up in a position where he gets deployed...crossing my fingers he does what he needs to do to be an instructor. since we never had a formal ceremony done for our wedding we are looking at next year to do the formal ceremony in new york for his family. i hope all is well with everyone and they are happy at where they are now. email me if u know me and want to chat. i hope to talk to someone soon ' much love, christina dunlap

Ok people, this is the deal....I NEED A JOB!!! This is ridiculous already! I graduated last May from UNO with a BS in Management and a Double Minor in European Studies and MIS. I also have 7 years of wireless experience and learn and adapt quickly to all kinds of environments - as all us military brats do! I am still in New Orleans but willing to relocate!! I've been applying everywhere like a crazy mad woman and have had ZERO luck. It's rather discouraging, to say the least. PLEASE, if anyone has any suggestions, let me know.
Luciana- Try employment agencies. Most do not require a fee and have many jobs lined up that are not advertised. I was laid-off my job of seven years back in January of 2003, and just got back to work last week. Hang in there. Something will come along if you keep looking.

What I meant by "wireless" was the wireless telecom industry, as in Nextel Communications. That's the wireless experience I was referring to in my original e-mail. I love the way this board works as a Networking Tool, I've already received several responses to my original message!! Thank you SO much my Raider buddies!! I feel 100% better already and THAT much more motivated and encouraged to find a job! I tell ya, all you younger Raiders out there who might be reading this....go to college, get a job and THEN become a parent. Doing this all as a single mom with a 10 year old boy is NO fun!
