Happy New Year to all my fellow Raiders, and a special wish to those who are proudly serving in Afghanistan, Iraq, and other garden spots around the world. Godspeed on a safe journey home. Germany and Belgium are ringing in the new year with a nice blanket of snow...time to get out the shovel! Joe
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL AND HOPE EVERYONES NEW YEAR WILL BE AN AWESOME ONE I DO HOPE TO HEAR MORE FROM PEOPLE THAT KNOW ME. MUCH LOVE, CHRISTINA DUNLAP AKA MATTHEWS
Winter time and deep snow always reminds me of the really great times my brothers and sisters and I use to have when we lived in Landstuhl, Ramstein and Sembach. We all went to K-town High and met a lot of good friends and had a great time going places in the K-town area. When ever we all get together we always have to remember someone or something that happened in the 70's in Germany and that is always a good thought. Happy Holidays and every one have a great New Year!!! Mike Gadeken
Merry Christmas and happy New year to all former KAHS Raiders. Let me hear from you. I might have taught you Science. Mrs. Luc
Heard about this website and just thought that I'd leave a msg for anyone who might remember me. I'm a sophomore at Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia. Hope everybody had a great holiday season!
Please remember that Dennis is maintaining this website at no charge. 50 years of Raider memories translates to thousands of names and memories. I know a few people who aren't on the memorial page but what is important is that they are still in the hearts and memories of the friends whose lives they touched. Because of his efforts many, many people have been able to reconnect, catch up and remember those who have not made the journey with us. We owe Dennis thanks, not criticisms. My 2 cents
Hi everybody, I was passing through and stumbled here. I can't beleive thats it been 9yrs since I left, but anyways some of the names up here seem familiar, if you think you remember me give me a holla. I was in Adv Band and chior, and went to Honors fest in 94 adn 95 any fellow band and chior members out there. I would like to get in touch with Mr.A (Alexander) If anyone knows how I can get in touch with him I would surely appreciate it. Also I herd that MoMo is not with us any more, and the same with Monte, if anyone knows anything about this holla at me. So far I've seen two people I went to K-town with; my girl Marshika and this other guy I can't remember his name though(ha ha). Looking for my friend Tomeka Pough send me an e-mail if see this. God Bless Kim
hey, all! well, i moved to mtn. home, idaho nov. of my junior year (2000), so i didn't get to graduate with my class, unfortunately... but if anyone wants to get in contact drop me a line. i've been staying busy and am a sophomore at the university of idaho in moscow (idaho, not russia). i'm an advertising major with minors in sociology and english and am a member of the delta delta delta sorority.
Sup family! I was in Germany from 1983-87 at Sembach. Went to K-Town from 85-87, moved at the end of my Junior year (87) Let me start of by saying sup to a few people. Larry R, Lionell S(MD), Kelley & Rodney R (VA), Neal R(VA), Dee R(GA), Robin V(MI), Percy V(WA), Orion & Amy B(VA), Pam S, Bruno (Anthony Siles), Kenney B(NC), Angie D(NC), Steve S(VA), my sis and bro Karen & Shawn S(GA), Lisa D(TX), Shelley B(AZ), Monica G.(NY) and for everyone else I forgot. I'm still living in Sunny South Florida working hard keeping the dream alive (to be successful). I missed the 50 year reunion in Germany but plan on going to the one in TX. That will be two trips back to back. I'll be in Houston for the Super Bowl XXXV!!! on the 30th of Jan. The last time I went to the 85-89 reunion was in TX a fewwwww years back. It was good to see old friends. This time I hope I can convince some of the bums I hung out with (above mentioned) to come. It would be real nice to see everyone together. This time I'm bringing my Track book and my letterman's jacket. At the last one I met fellow track star Don from C/O 6?. I remember chasing after Don's records while running track in 86 & 87. I think I was only able to get one of them in the 87 European Finals, I ran in 4 events that day. anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing some of you there!!!!!!! DS C/O 88
ADVERTISEMENT Lots to update everyone on. Where to start... Dec 30th I had gastric bypass surgery, which went just fine. I was actually down 10 pounds by the time I left the hospital on the 2nd (yes I know most of it was water weight - but don't burst my bubble) I did measurements the night before I went in the hospital and did a second set yesterday, am down a total of 9 inches overall - not a bad start. One drain tube is out and all the staples are gone, just one more tube to go. No hunger pains, no nausea, energy is not too bad - endurance still needs some improvement - but I am happy, another 2 weeks before I even start thinking about going back to work on light duty. Jan 6th My youngest Nial got married before the Justice of Peace, cute little service, but they are planning a big "church" wedding to be held on Feb 8th. Was going to be the 14th but Danielle's sister would have to report back to base and would not be able to make it. Danielle went to the doctor today, they put her due date on June 20th, which is about 3 weeks later than when I think it will be. She was so excited - she got to hear the baby's heartbeat. I don't think Nial could have been more excited if Ed McMann showed up with a big check. My parents are still down, Mom is hanging out waiting on me and my dad is actually helping Monte out running the door at the club - unreal. Dad is happy he found a gym he likes in Atlanta Tx which is about 20 miles from us, so he spends his days working out or reading and then helping Monte out. No fights so far (keeping my fingers crossed)

Sad news to start the new year. Renee Hines (attended KAHS Freshman, Sophmore and Junior year - graduated in the states in 1980) passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2004. Renee will be missed by many friends and family members around the world. (And if you knew Renee, you might have also known Jeff Laird '79 - he was killed in an automobile accident June 5, 2002 - - they both used to hang out at the Casino Royale in Ramstein village among other places (castles, lakes, etc).

Dear Fellow Raiders: Recently, Jeanettee Robertson “68”, informed me of a new website dedicated to World War II Veterans. The purpose of the website is to register Veterans who served during WW II to be listed on the new war memorial. The following words are directly from the website: The National World War II Memorial will be the first national memorial dedicated to all who served during World War II. The memorial, which will be established by the American Battle Monuments Commission, will honor all military veterans of the war, the citizens on the home front, the nation at large, and the high moral purpose and idealism that motivated the nation’s call to arms. The memorial will be dedicated on May 29, 2004; it is important all veterans who are eligible are listed as soon as possible. If you know of any veterans who participated, alive or deceased, during WWII please take the time to register their name. The process is very simple just remember the first set of questions pertain to your personal information. Then the site will ask you to list the name of the veteran, their rank, and the city and state where the person enlisted. The following address is the website: http://www.wwiimemorial.com I suspect many veterans who served during WWII are not aware of this website and most are not into computers. Therefore, it is up to us to take the initiative so they are recognized for sacrificing their lives to protect our country. Please help and let others know of this website. This is one small way to thank them and to ensure they will never be forgotten. Thank you, Don E. Newton “65”

Whats up ktown. I think this is a monthly ritual for me now. I like to check back from time to time to see where everyone is at in life. As for me. I am getting married. I think July 3rd is the date. I dont think we are completely set on that yet. For those of you that know me, I know I have said in the past that I didnt want to get hitched anytime soon. I guess that all changes when you meet the right person. When you know you know. I get crap all the time for it. No kids yet, or on the way (I hope). The bike and some traveling come first. As for job. I work for LMG. It is an audio visual presentation company here is Orlando. We do alot of shows. Been real busy lately. WOrked 87 hours last week. I am still in and out of the studio from time to time. I am recording my buddy's band this weekend. Hopefully that will be my bread and butter some day. Gots to go. Hit me up if ya know me. email: Mike_d81@hotmail.com pager: michael.dupont@my2way.com home phone: 407-875-0206 cell: 407-929-6725 cell email: 4079296725@tmomail.com YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE!!!!!
Dear Mrs. Luc, Your ears must have been burning... You taught me biology or was it anatomy and physiology? You taught me in 1982/1983 or the year before that. I LOVED your class, and you really fostered my interest in science. I had had knee surgery and wrote a paper for your class called the "Physiology of Pain". You were so complimentary on the paper. Anyway, I went to college and majored in Education - with a minor in science! Then became an RN. Now I am completing my Master's in Education with a Focus on Reading and Literacy. Guess what I teach?! 4th grade ...Science! Just this past week, we were to discuss (in my online Master's program) examples of teachers who were helpful, and those who were less than helpful. You were the teacher who came to my mind as being very helpful and influential to me. We were talking about the importance of making comments on students' written work, and why we should always do that. Your comments meant to much to me! I appreciate your expertise as a teacher! BTW, where are you now? Angela Holmes-Holwick
Hello all! I'm still waiting to hear from any of you that know me but haven't made contact! Buzz, I emailed you 3 times to update my email address. What's up? ineedrevival@netzero.com is my current address. Is there anyway to get old yearbooks? Back in the day, I thought I was too cool for those. But, now I wish I had them. 1988-1991. What's new with everyone else? Looking for Dina(as usual). Anyone know how to contact her now? Take care all!
Looking for anyone in K-Town when I was there back in 1977 to 1979. I just found an ol friend Kirk Longo. Here are some links if you didnt know. There is a 20 yr reunion for the class of 84 in US. http://kahs.dyndns.org/phpBB2/index.php
Hi! Just wondering if anybody has some pictures of the 2003 Homecoming Reunion and could send them to me via e-mail. I still live in Germany but was unable to attend the reunion. Would be nice to see pictures of old pals again. Thanks, Brian
I was at the reunion and there was a guy constantly taking pictures. I think his name was Craig Wirth and is also from the 70`s but I am not sure which year. As far as I know he was making cd's of all of his pictures.
