I lived in K-Town 1977-1980 (6th-9th Grade). Graduated from SHAPE Belgium in 1984. While in K-Town I lived on Flieger Stasse, ran with the Raider's Track team (1 Mile, and Relay) under Coach Anzai. 7th Grade lab partners were Althea Turner and Alan Anzai. I was with Boy Scout Troop 128 (got to know Rhine Ordnance Barracks pretty well). Dad worked on Kleber Kaserne at 45th Finance, and we went to church across the street from Kleber. Seeking to reconnect with people from that time. As a military brat, it can be too easy to say hello and good-bye. What a time it was though!

Hi all, I attended K-Town and then ended up transferring to Ramstein HS when it opened its doors. I used to hang out with Bob Dunn, we were/are best friends and got into lots of trouble back then! I remember lighting up a cigarette in our speech and debate class at K-Town in order to make a point during one of my "Debates"! Haha. Anyway... I wanted to find a web site like this one for Ramstein HS... as well but it doesn't appear to exist.

Ive been searching for about 7 years now.. Anyone that might remember the 73-75 Vogelweh drinking at the disco's ... Going to the castle drinking there.. Watching the old train with its redhot firebox chug down the tracks.. hearing that Shirl whistle sounding in the night... the smell of Coal burning coming thru the woods, with the fresh sent of pine........... Seasons Greetings from Whitmore lake, Michigan! Gee its only been a mere 30 something years since leaving K-Town.. I can not beleive for one second that, everyone that I went to school with, played Football between the houses in vogelweh, partied it up in "GERMAN TOWN", Went To Honeckin Castle, Went SWIMMING at Landstahl. Partied in my Maids room... Got Busted by the Polizi, Hung around with at lunch, Went to class with. Lived next door to... Are Not Around anymore. Where are you People... I just wanted to wish all K-Towners a happy and safe holiday time. As with all folks, we lose loved ones that we love so dear. Let's keep the good memories alive and celebrate with them in our hearts. We should all have memories of Thanksgiving and Christams in Germany. Wow, it sure was cold ... As always, Raider Pride!! Ken (a quick update: our football Red Raiders lost to Ramstein and got knocked out of the super eight by Lakenheath. Good luck to our teams in the winter sports!) Hi. My father was in the military. This is how we got the chance to visit Germany and go to high school.. His name is (Freddie Taliman) He was the soul heart of my family. My sisters name is carolee taliman. Well. My father has pasted away. On Nov 1st 2008. I'm just remembering where the places he has been and Germany was one of them. My oldest son has passed too. Hello to all K-Raiders! A big "Howdy" to the Class of 76. The Denver reunion was great! I think back to just a few months ago and I'm so thankful that I was there and met so many old/new friends. Spread the word K-Towners.. stay in touch with those people in your life, with those memories, don't let time and distance get in the way. Try to connect here or somewhere ... OK, the update is that our K-Town Red Raiders are now 2 - 1. They beat Lakenheath in a 1 point squeaker. They have Shape, Geissen (a German school), and then the big showdown with RAMSTEIN. Well Uni is all officially done and I now have a job with a Community Mental Health Team located in Essex, England. It's all very satisfying finishing and then finding a job so quickly. Just waiting for my security clearance to go through then away I go. Was great seeing those of you who came to San Antonio for the reunion. Hey all you ramsteiners, k-towners and bachers I hope you guys are having a great summer. It looks like the 08 Reunion in Dallas went awesome. Some things came up at the last moment and Bob could not make it either and I really wanted to see him.I am sorry I missed it but had to check out some land deal. Maybe next one. The Motocross outreach website should be up in full blast in a week or so as we have started it but fine tuning it. A testimonial will be on there to download of my conversion. Thanks again to all of you classROOMIES, teachers, coaches, people of influence in a positive way of course but the negative brought challenges to all of us.
